As a responsible corporate citizen, the Bank in 2006 become the main sponsor for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year ® (EOY) Awards that celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of Malaysians who build and lead successful businesses.The objective of the EOY Awards is aligned closely with our objective to promote and nurture free enterprise amongst Malaysians.

Other significant contributions made by the Bank in 2006 includes a contribution amounting to RM250,000 to Yayasan Warisan Perajurit and payment of zakat amounting to RM2million to Pusat Zakat Negeri Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The Bank's effort to improve transparency has also borne fruit by the Certificate of Merit accorded by NACRA in 2006 in recognition of the high quality of the Bank's annual report, and as an encouragement to achieve higher levels of excellence in corporate reporting in the coming year.
